- Applicant to become member
- Get approved from IIA Inc by submitting application, fees etc.,
- This will be referred to Pearson site and data will be updated there within 48 hours.
- Applicant need to fix up test location and date with pearson subject to availability – test centre opens Monday to Friday throughout the year
- Exam has to be taken within 180 days from application submission and approval by IIA Inc – if desired site and dates are not available – applicant has to change according to availability

What is the CIA Examination?
The Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®)
designation is the only globally accepted certification for internal
auditors and remains the standard by which individuals demonstrate their
competency and professionalism in the internal auditing field. Candidates
leave the program enriched with educational experience, information, and
business tools that can be applied immediately in any organization or
business environment.
The Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) exam tests
a candidate's knowledge of current internal auditing practices and
understanding of internal audit issues, risks and remedies. The exam
is offered in four parts, each part consisting of 125 multiple-choice
questions.

CIA candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent
from an accredited college-level institution. The CIA Exam worldwide is scheduled
will be held May and November every year.. Every new candidate
appearing for the CIA examination shall pay an initial registration fee of
US$ 60 and an Exam Part Fee of US$70 per Part. The examination fee has be
to remitted directly to IIA headquarters in Florida USA. Complete details
